We are a free, voluntary, and non-political offer that helps bilingual individuals – both in Denmark and globally – to learn Danish, understand the system, and become ready for jobs and education in Denmark.
Our head office is located in Rødding in Southern Jutland, Denmark, an area with more than 150 years of tradition for enlightenment, community, and the holistic human being.
This tradition of openness, learning, and human development is the cornerstone of Dansk Sprogskole.

Our Concept – The Three Pillars

1) Language – learn Danish for free and at your own pace
Dansksprogskole.dk – voluntary and free preparation for FVU
At Dansk Sprogskole, you can learn Danish as a beginner through short videos, animations, live online training, and a supportive community.

Our Role in the Language Course:
At Dansk Sprogskole, we teach Danish for beginners at A0–A2 level as a voluntary and free preparation for FVU (Forberedende Voksenundervisning / Preparatory Adult Education).
For citizens without a CPR number (Danish civil registration number), we can support the language journey further towards the B-level, until you one day move to Denmark.
When you reach A2 and live in Denmark:
HF & VUC takes over with all authority, screening, assessment, and instruction in:
Instruction for FVU and AVU takes place solely at HF & VUC, in full compliance with the law. Our role is preparatory, supportive, and voluntary – never exercising official authority.
Our Teachers
At Dansk Sprogskole, you will meet some of our Danish teachers, including Nina, Marie, and Peter – all educated with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree. They teach in our voluntary online beginner courses that prepare you for FVU.
2) Integration – we help you with the first steps in Denmark
Moving to a new country is a big decision. We make the transition safe and manageable – in the same spirit as Rødding’s tradition for public enlightenment.
